SWG Classic Servers

I know lots of people have talked about them.  I wish SOE/LEC wold see that classic servers(CU or pre-CU) would bring back a majority of the old playerbase while keeping the NGE playerbase.  They should convert some existing servers into classic servers.  I think there are two reasons they will not bring classic servers online. 

1- They stripped the dev team already.  Anyone that actually believes they still have a staff of 70 is stupid.  They might have a dozen or two, max.  This is why they are correct when they say they don't have the resources to run two versions of the game.

2- They don't want to admit they were wrong.  If they opened up a classic server they would see just how many people loved the old game.

I still think that this is the only chance we have of ever seeing the SWG of old.  They will never abandon their NGE concept.

    I think number 2 is the biggest problem for Soe/LA

    Of your two reasons, the highlighted one is most liekly.   They don't want to set a precedence for their other games.
