I think most of the people who find Eve disappointing, do so mainly because without a linear structure, most people find themselves lost in a sea of options. I have played Eve for more than three years. I have never had more than 150mil in my wallet, I've never gotten a tech 2 bpo, never been able to afford the real expensive faction stuff or the high end implants but I'm still having a lot of fun. I think the problem with most people is that tehy are trying to hard to do what someone else is doing instead of doing their own thing. Some dude sees a rich miner and he immediately takes up mining thinking he's going to be super rich in a week. After a few days he's bored out of his brains, cries about the game being unfair and quits. Thats pretty muh what happens.
For the skilled player who knows how Eve works, life in eve is quite easy. I even started a new char just to see how hard it is as a new player. Turns out, its quite easy.
ooooh eve has a new hateboi in beatnik59. He thinks he's being very clever but its plainly obvious he knows nothing about eve and just trying to get himself noticed. Wonder what he plays.

People just tend to get out of hand on this site, probably because it has a larger, more varied audience and they know they can get a response without alienating themselves from the community... which makes me wonder about the purpose of your post.
The purpose of my post was to point out the obvious. If you think his comments make much sense, I seriously doubt that you have played eve for 3 years. All his comments, are completly generic. They make no specific mention of game features, just random criticisms he probably stole of other hatebois who never played the game.
Right.. well ... good post by the original author! Although I would say dont let the "dis squads" bother you as you said they are imature and probably have a have a 2 digit IQ. I would say just enjoy EVE and let them live in thier own fantasy world .. after all thier rantings will have no effect at all on EVE itself.
Speaking for myself I play EVE aswell and find it a very rewarding game, of course some days are frustrating and and you think Oh dear God why do I play this game, but thankfully these moments are very far and few between. ALL in All EVE is great and I wouldnt want to play any other mmorpg.
A guy with 98 could be way "mature" than one with 110. A good person needs more than just a high IQ.
