Has anyone recieved confirmation of beta, and if so how long did it take after the application?

till you have had luck and be chsoen from one of the approximately 40k beta applicants
till now only app. 600 people are in beta now ...
so its like lottery ....
most of us are waiting for more than 6 month or so, since beta application form is out ...
600 seems extremly low considering my co-worker is in the beta.
It could happen i guess, but o well they just need to pick my lotto number RAWR!
