Not me. I'd rather play smash my face with a bottle than play the nasty, cheap hooker version of swg - the CU.
I dont know what publish i'd want (dont keep up with publish numbers) but i want the TEF, none of the sf combatant carebear crapola, no noob village, and jedi tef and permadeath. So i guess that's pre- publish 9?

I've said it before, say it again, publish 9 was the silent death of SWG. It's what would ultimately cause the came to become too unbalanced, and require major "upgrades" to attempt to appease customers, when in reality it just pissed them off. Granted I stuck around, but the writing was on the wall.
If we didn't have Jedi running around like crazy, stackers would've been far less prevelant. And ranged would've been able to compete in PvP. Before it became Jedi wars ranged and melee both had their benefits.
As far as Jedi, bring back saber tef. Maybe permadeath, but saber tef works good enough. Then you will see the Jedi actually living in hiding the way they used to, and never traveling alone when grinding.
The CU is still a flawed system. In fact it was so flawed it only took SOE 6 months to recognize that and scrap it. That means I'm guessing they were working for a good 3months on the NGE beforehand, at least. So the CU was almost from the getgo acknowledged to be rotten.

So a CU server fixes nothing.
