Hey,
Im new to the FFXI world and although i was slightly disapointed with some aspects i still think it is an excellent MMO, i am looking for some people to becomes friends with on the server im on (dunno which that is ...how do i tell lol)
anyway looking for someone i can level up with as i hate it on my own at times
im in the UK so im normally on it in the day through the week and lte at night on weekend

Well, it tells two ways what server you're one. When you're in the character selection screen, it tells the basic facts of the character you're currently selecting: name, job, level, zone...and server. Also, when you log on to a character, the first thing you see is the server message, which always starts "Welcome to /servername/!"
