I consider anybody who was there before the CU went live as a "veteran." However, if you started at any time after that, and are now screaming for pre-CU servers as loud as the rest of us, then you also qualify in my book.

Anyone there since before NGE is a vet to me.
Interesting question...... hmm, I'd say playing prior to any major game-play experience altering change so in essence I agree completely w/ Rekrul, any pre-NGE player is a vet. I myself joined SWG sometime around Pub 5 or 6 (never bothered to figure out exactly when).

That same logic applies to current players/subscribers.

Someone I met in-game bought SWG (the original, not starter kit or something, so even original pre-cu version) about two weeks before NGE, somewhere in October. He wanted to be a CH in game.
I start playing during the beta phase III quit when the game release ( the game wasnt ready to come out ) and start to play again when player city's and "mount" come out. i Quit when they start to making changes to the game ( when they change the system of the reward of the missions )

Star Wars Galaxies Beta Star Wars Galaxies: Episode III Rage of the Wookiees (Digital Download) Star Wars Galaxies Star Wars Galaxies: Trials of Obi Wan (Preorder Bonus Item) Star Wars Galaxies: Jump To LightSpeed Star Wars Galaxies: Trials of Obi Wan
I started playing a couple of weeks after SWG launched. Two months later I quit in frustration at the lack of bugfixes and the fact that mission terminals were nerfed. I joined again before the CU and became frustrated again that entertainer issues had basically not been adressed, so I quit again after three months. Then I signed up again a week before the NGE and quit a week after it went live.
So what does that make me - a vet or an 'occasional' newbie?
