I must say i'm a bit surprised at how fun the game is. I have read reviews here and other game sites as to how bad this game is. I have to say though most of those reviews were about when the game was released. If i remember, AO had a bad release and that game is still going. I think the game must have changed alot since then.
Sure the graphics are not on par with newer games, but thats not important. With mmo's its about gameplay and community, which i give Horizons an A for. I'm in a guild and have had so much help from them. I've been in many guilds in other games where i'm just a number. The players hear really surport the game and try to help a new player get ajusted to things. Its to bad that many gamer's base their thoughts on a game by what someone else says.
For me i think i've found a game worth the fee. I like the level of maturity in the playerbase. After playing wow, i'm more likely to pick a game based on this. Crafting is something i never got into. But in this game its so much fun. You can get really wealthy if you get into crafting. I can't wait till i can afford my own plot of land and build on it. I think the game is fun. Give it a try, what do you have to lose but time.
I have read how some people are having problems with account info and logging in. Everything went smooth for me. I don't understand what their problems were.
