I was really getting into this game until i started questing. I have played many mmo's in my time. Questing in them has always been fun. But in this game they just frustrate the hell out of you. You get vague info and hardly any directions as to where to start. And for a newbie to have to go through this is a real turn off to the game.

I got a quest that all newbies have to do. The directions to find a npc were "over yonder". Yeah thats really helpful. And to make matters worse,some of these quest have been broken over a year. You can't complete them. You log never updates.

And the best part of it all, is the excuse they give for this." Quest were made that way to make you explore". This has to be the lamest reason for bad quest writing i've ever heard. You do that in mmo's on your own anyways. They have 2000 quest in this game. In chat i found out that most players don't bother anymore with questing.

Last night i spent an hour running around on some island looking for an npc for wedding quest. I asked in new player chat for help. No one could help me. I was told to use the notepad that comes with the game for quest. So every quest i get i have rewrite it in notepad. That only works for some quest, not quest the give you "over yonder" for directions. I never found the npc. I logged out. Maybe for good.
