Hmmm not good way to make players happy .... really bad patch day

I was at work so missed out on most of the fun but evidently the server updates took 4 hours longer than expected before they came back online and now they're down again because of a duping bug...

*chuckles*

Way to go Turbine!

    Sounds like exactly what happened when the last expansion was introduced.

    I just had finished the new lvl 10 quest in the Lobster before the servers were taken offline.   Good quest too.   I think they are doing a rollback as well because of the dupe.

    Wow just when I was about to start the 7 day trial to see if I like this game. LOL. This is typical. I might just go ahead and cancel right now. Save myself some headaches.

    I would wait if your going to do the 7 day trial for a couple days so the bugs are fixed.

    It's too late. I activated it today. Probably a mistake but can't I just make a new free trial under a different name?

    Yep, you can get the free trial as many times as you have email accounts :)  Technically speaking I can probably continue playing free trials for the next 3 or 4 months if it rocks my boat to do so :)  ROFL.

    So I assume El that you are still playing on a free trial account? What class/level are you?

    Atleast they are pretty good about giving updates every hour on the hour about what is going on. This is something i have NEVER seen from ANY MMORPG company before.

    That is something i like.

    Well, I myself only got 2 days out of it before I was bored (and extremely disappointed) with it. As much as I love MMOs and RPGs, it really is one of those games I wouldn't even play for free. Such a waste of a great franchise.

    Yea I logged on for the first time since beta last night when the servers finally came back up and played for about an hour and said to myself "now I know why I quit playing this in the first place".

    It left me with a sickness in my stomach and while I was looking around the inn and all the NPC's and seeing a few level 1 drows I kinda said the hell with it and logged out. Maybe I'll try it again tonight but it just doesn't do it for me.
