I purchased PS about one month ago, the game is great

the only problem i ahve is Foders switchin sides and throwing the balance off.

Two days ago i was trying to play PS. I logged on fine and game started to load.  It all seemed fine until i got to the server screen.  As it loaded it stoped after the first section.  Ive tried everything to get it to work.  all the forums ive checked dont help and the onlyone that had a suggestion said to wait.  that the problem might be that to many people are trying to get in all at once.

i highly doubt it is this because i never saw it happen before, and its allready been three days.  Ive done multiple system restores and even re-installed the game, but nothing will help.

If anyone has Any suggestions please help.  I want to kick some NC butt.

You played before, then it suddenly it stopped working? so your initial install was fine... there was a patch not long ago which increased the loading time somewhat... how long did you leave it?

Assuming it had actually stopped, rather than impatience getting the better of you... a few things to try:

do a Full Scan; there's a checkbox at the bottom of the launcher. it's unlikely you'll get anything new, but that just checks over the PS files in your system, makes sure none are missing or corrupted.

check your firewall; most patches replace the Planetside.exe and Launchpad.exe - make sure they're both still exempted by your firewall, if you have one.

update your graphics drivers. i haven't heard of any new graphics incompatabilities, but it's worth updating them  regularly anyway.

beyond that, i can't really help. try rearching the offical forums Help section; there might be a fix for you in there.

It's not funny, it's not clever, and it WILL break if you play with it.

No, it wasnt that i was impatient.

I left it until it said disconnected and then game closed.

I always turn my firewall off completely when i play a game, just incase it causes lag.

I did full scan and official forums dont help.  other people that had the same problem as me didnt get replies and when i search it in the SOE Station Database, i get

    If you can successfully connect
this way, then there are probably no problems on the network between
your machine and the servers. You need to focus your troubleshooting on
your machine, or your connection to your ISP.

    If you are using a
router, you may need to configure it for access to our games. In
general, you can set up "Port Triggering" to allow our games to connect.
To do so, you need to set up the start and port of the Trigger range to
be 7000, and for the Triggered range, use the start port 1023 and the
end port 65535 (for The Matrix Online, you need to use port 80 as the
Trigger port). This is for both TCP and UDP packets. A good source of
information on Port Triggering is http://www.portforward.com but you may want to contact the router manufacturer or your ISP for more specific information.

You may need to uninstall or disable your antivirus and firewall applications before connecting.

    And it doesnt help

Been awake all night trying to find a way to get Planetside to work

I'm waiting now till 10am to chat with technician.........well really 1pm becausefor some reason their time i 3 hours behind

    I hate SOE customer service..
