ok I have 2 accounts right now a ranger monk and a warrior monk

both are level 20 with droks armour and whenever i go to random arenas and vs. a Assasin I always die because of that stupid horns of ox crap and how they attack every second and never need to attack and also that very annoying teleporting skill.

What I need.

1.skills to beat the assasins

2.reccomended armour

3.recomended weapon

4.if there is no way suggest another proffesion and maybe some skills

You want a class that can kill a 'sin, try a 'sin...hehehehe.

But seriously, use a skill (or two) that gives you 50% chance to dodge attacks. Both Warriors & Rangers have them (rangers have lots), save this one skill for when you get attacked by a 'sin and (if you're not unlucky with the dodging) you'll render their chain-skills virtually useless. Or there's plenty of other ways, blind (with ranger or secondary elementalist), mesmer and necro hexes that give chance to miss (and dmg them at the same time), etc. They go down VERY quickly if their enemies are equipped.

(That being said, I still say my 'sin is the most self-contained, well-equipped class in GW, or any game I've played for that matter...without being uber)

If you're a Ranger: throw dirt, dust trap, lightning reflexes, any crippling attack, apply poison (or poison arrow), barbed trap, spike trap (elite), storm chaser, etc. Rangers have a lot of skills that make them a challenge for Assassins. Equip a short bow (increased attack speed and accuracy) when they come in close. Composite or Flatbow at range.

I'll let someone who plays a Warrior address their abilities.

Ironically, I've always felt my R/Mo was more than a match for any other profession in the game. ::::02::

P.S. Ranger armor is designed to protect best against elemental damage, not physical attacks, so the idea for your ranger is to keep the bad guy "at range" (Storm Chaser works well for this). Warrior armor is best against physical damage. (Incidentally, Necros can use armor (bonelace) that good against piercing attacks). The devs have designed a "rock/paper/scissors" approach to armor. IMHO, it works very well.
