DAOC Europe: State of the game and ToA rerelease

The European game has been a rarity on shop shelves for the last month or so - but it is getting a re release when Trials of Atlantis ships in Europe.
Do people think the game is going to benefit from the re-release with a lot of new players? I have been wanting to start the alleged lack of people under lev 20 has put me off.
What is the state of the game in Europe at the mo? I am looking forward to getting stuck in in a month or so.
