Did they pull the plug ...?

in Dark and Light

Game server has been down 5 hours now (So I jsut read). There is no official word yet as to whats going on. Is it possible Farcelan & NPScum didn't pay a few bills (ala Artifact Entertainment).

Is this game dieing faster than we thought ...?

    hmmm, maybe..just maybe....that post about the NPFleece and _Pix_ finally was hammered down? Would be the ultimate to my day if it was so.

    I hear it's an issue with the login server, although, I'm not sure that's the official word.

    Man, what a day in the life of justice it would be if Farlan called this whole sham off.

    I bet their response would be... 'You've been Punk'd!' Or better yet, you've been 'Zapped!'

    I haven't been around vocally as long as the rest of you, but I would offer to buy the first round if this game really has been sacked.

    How fricking sad is it that the players had to rummage around the french forum to find info on why the server's down?

    They should have before they even gave one pixel of this game to the paying public. Even those currently paying or waiting for their freebie time to expire dont want to even try to play anymore. These stories are true. Each new fix breaks more things, each new rollback forks everything up, each new server reboot plays havoc on the game. Its a frickin loonybin of playtime in that game.

    Pulling the plug would be merciful.

    Mercy killing.  Or in police terms, justifiable homicide.  Not a court in the land would prosecute Farlan for murdering DnL.
