Hmm ... Isn't it interesting how Blizzard is following the same measures as SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) with the numerous patches/up-grades/expansions/failing customer relations (do I need to go on?) ??
Sadly, World of Warcraft is showing more and more player realms shrinking as they continue to make changes to non-game essential eye candy. Talk about deja vu.
Many of the Star Wars Galaxies exiles who joined World of Warcraft, in hopes to find a filler game, are now seeing the same problems and doom.
How can the makers of World of Warcraft blindly continue to drive their working game into a void??
With all the similar changes and false promises, it appears Blizzard has hired many former developers from SOE.
Let me know what the rest of you think. Please try not to turn this thread into a flame fest, I really wish to have honest views to ponder upon.
Thanks,

There is only so much you can add to a PvE oriented game before it feels out of place.
SWG wasnt a PvE oriented game, it had good PvE and PvP, and just plain comunity involvement, through the market and the GCW, and Entertainers. It was a game for everybody. Now that is not the case, now it is 80% PvE, 19% PvP and 1% crafting/community.
WoW on the other hand is 95% PvE, 3% PvP and 2% crafting/community. PvP serves no purpose other than to get rank for PvP items, its more of a grind than the exp grind to 60. World PvP is a joke right now, it basically consist of lameass Alliance players raiding xroads with 5-15 level 60's at 4AM in the morning just killing guards for over an hour, and some scattered action in Tanaris, usually sparked by an idiot attacking a flaged player in Gadgetzan and being swarmed by 50 Goblins, and Ashenvale.
Blizzard has done a damn amazing job I think, they were hit blindly by the mass population, they didnt expect anywhere near this many players, who the hell would? There is NO MMO company out there today or yesterday that is/was expecting 5-6 million subscribers. They have added tons of new zones, armor sets, weapons and what not, sure its just PvE raid grinder content, but it is free content and content you would have to pay for anywhere else, such as the Adventure Packs for EQ2, $5 a raid zone/dungeon.

My indian name is person with no clue.
I sit at this computer screen, reading titles to things that say many things about many things and many things. I sometimes go into paradoxial arguements in the hopes someone will clear it but, just as well I am difficult.
I read this thing I see on a site that says this is going to happen because we saw it happen before and, think MY GAWD, it's true. Then my truth factor begins to grow as more opposing information sources create hype again. I read deeply into the massive field of anti-WoW hype... more and more till I am part of the hype itself.
I used to play WoW because, I couldn't make up my own mind and, let others make it up for me.
Professor Hubert Farnsworth - That question is less stupid but, you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

I agree Blizzard had done a fine job. Don't get me wrong, the core game is good. It's the additions which have been recently applied which has made game-play and PvE/PvP ranking out of sorts. Sure it's great to maintain your PvE ranking off the NPCs, but that gets rather boring after a while. Next you try to find an opposite faction player to PvP, but the thing is ... not many of the upper level players have been logging on for a challenge and you're stuck with new-comers (not saying newbies can't be a challenge) for an all too easy PvP kill.
What about the recent changes with the mobs? Kind of crazy, a mob that is 4 levels under you can pretty much gank and kill you, and give decent xp ... while mobs almost 10 levels higher give you about 200 xp per kill?? Kind of backwards, don't you think? It just seems too weird for me to see a load of level 40's in an area that was easy and low xp two weeks ago, but that's just me.
As I said, your honesty is what I wanted to hear and I thank you.
