The official "We Love SOE" Thread

Ok, so someone wanted to start a We hate SOE thread, therefore, I started this "We Love SOE" thread. Because, I love EQ2 and I play it because:

- It has the best graphics so far in any game

- SOE has added two expansions with a lot of new features in a single year and one more expansion is comming soon with lots more content (no other game has done this)

- SOE has added many smaller dungeons, areas and improvements to the game along the way

- EQ2 has the best UI ever I have seen in an MMORPG

- It has the best variety of weapons, spells, monsters

- It has houses, a very complete broker, a nice chat system and email, LFW, LFG, and a complete crafting system

- The game is getting improved daily

- I love the crafting revamp in LU#24 and the combat revamp LU#13 (I believe)

    I'm with you on this one, brilliant game! :)

    Great ambiance and atmosphere, both sound and visual.
    Great lore.
    Friendly, mature community.
    Content, soooo much content.
    Great game, great devs, great experience.

    I'd recomend this one to anyone and everyone.

    Little off topic:

    About that statement above, Best is based on opinion, so its differem but if you mean if any game ever (not just MMO's) Have you even seen Oblivion's Graphics? Heck, Even CoH/CoV can compare to EQ2 graphics wise now adays

    Prior to release of the expansions, I would have bashed EQ2 also, but I went back and tried the game with the expansions and was impressed with how far they had come.  I would continue with EQ2 if I had more time.  Worth a check if you haven't seen it.  =)

    I still HATE SOE though, that will not change unless they learn how to provide quality customer support!  They blow in that area.  ;)

    So far the other games have patched in allot of content Not sold you patches via expansions.

    3 (expansions)(patches) now make them free and yes its great

    Show me a game that has more content patched in for free than EQ2.

    They are constantly patching in free content.

    I am sorry, I meant to say best graphics in an MMORPG to date. Yes, Oblivion has better graphics and as well as many first person shooter games.
