Hey folks,
Thought I would pass this bit of news on. EVE-Online now offers a three-day free trial via a "buddy system." Simply get a referral from a current EVE-Online user and they can send to your email address the info needed to start a new three-day account (that is convertible into a regular account).

There is a thread in the Eve forums here at MMORPG.COM where you can request a buddy system invitation and someone will invite you.
