Well, it isint. It's YOUR fault considering that, YOU chose to play, YOU choose to stay on. How can you make a game addicitive? You can't. Stop blaming the company, its your fault for god sakes. Morons.
WHY TAKE OTHERS SOULS WHEN YOU ONLY NEED ONE???

People often blame anyone but themselves.
Even if you have the excuse of 'well I've met a number of friends, etc', you can still stay in contact via email or create a gaming clan web-site. I've kept in touch with players I haven't actually played with in years. We still have the same gaming interests and like discussing games. If you concerned about privacy, just create a gmail account with your player's name.

Oh, cruel fate, to be thusly boned. Ask not for whom the bone bones. It bones for thee.
Explain how Blizzard is at fault?
ps. I'm not flaming or calling anyone a moron, just curious.

Because they made the game. They could have made it boring, but instead they made it fun, exciting and addictive.
Also, im not saying that it being addictive is a bad thing.

The PvP "Honor" mechanic is by far the most sadistic gameplay design element i have seen in 10 years of gaming.
So yeah, it s addictive, Blizzard made it so, in the case of the Honor system they deliberately designed it that way despite having multiple different design choices that wouldn t require 10+ hours a day 7 days a week for 3-6 months in a row to succeed; WoW certainly is designed in an addictive way, wich isn t bad in itself for a game, however in WoWs case it demands time requirements to succeed that can be unhealthy/detrimental to real life if you give in to the addiction.
same as cigarettes or alcohol. you always have the choice, but the company counts on getting you addicted and deliberately designs the product that way. health/moderate use being a secondary concern, if any, that is delegated to the consumer.
do u know what pointing is? www.dinctionary.com and search it up...
my point is these days people must point the finger and blamde someone else for everything! no matter what happens rarely u will find someone blaming themselves, they nearly allways blame someone else

Ya! Down with Blizzard, those fun loving bastards!
hahahahahaa dinctionary!!!! Oh thank you so much I needed that.
And it's not that WoW is that addictive, it's just that there isn't anything else to do at the moment. WoW came along at the perfect time. EQ was old, Sony was slitting the throat of SWG, DAoC was spinning it's wheels, and Guild Wars was just starting up. Quite honestly I don't even know why I still play it but hey, what else is there to do? Go outside? HA! Read the dinctionary?
