Becoming bored

I have now been playing GW for slightly over 13 months and I although there is more content my low grade computer prevents me from experiencing it at it's fullest potential. I'm finding that all I really do anymore is farm to make money to buy nice armor, which is not what I want to be doing in my MMO. I find myself almost stopping myself from playing by stalling on this forum, I've lost the will to play

Anyway, I do love gw it's just that after a year I think I need to step into something else and take a break for a while. First off allow me to say that I do NOT want to play WoW, I have my reasons and I don't want to turn this into a flame war. I am looking for something new, I want the highlight to either be amazing pvp or amazing pvp, nothing that is mediocre in both areas. So I am asking for the thoughts of some of the people that have played through multiple MMOs, I need something new!

Not many games out there that will keep you from that feeling for very long.

RF-Online has the best pvp but it is a grindfest like youve never seen before. For straight pvp I'd say play face of mankind - its a really bad game UNLESS you play merc faction and jus run around ganking everyone you see.

if u think RF is a grindfest...my friend u've never played pre-c4 lineage 2 or silkroad, makes RF look like guildwars

also best pvp? how fun is it to beat on someone while both of u r smashing the button for potions and getting nowhere and when one is low on pots he can simple port back to town? Chipwar is just a zergfest just like any other mass-pvp (sieges) becuz NA players doesnt really compute with a mass pvp strategy, instead whoever can zerg wins...always

ya i do agree after awhile GW gets old, i quitted GW a little over...6months ago becuz all the IWAY crap and the game was getting nowhere.

u r not gonna find a mmo today without grinding...or getting boring...or well ya thats MMO for u

Im not trying to start a flame war, personally I found the chip wars fun at higher level and theyve macroed potting. It cant be that fun tho caus I only played the game for a month

I'm curious what the difference is between pre-c4 lineage 2 and post-c4.

mobs gives buffs, which in turn lets u solo, and i also heard the grind is lessen at lower lvls. I'm an old skool L2 player (From CB to c3) and i can tell the the grind is hell post65 in c2 and c3, about 1.2-1.5% per hr with the perfect party where we hunt non-stop on angels and those short tribespeople(forgot name).

RF is a joke compare to that

its open pvp, i like that kind of pvp too...too bad the sieges r zergfest
