    Like to add that I played WoW before I started the warcraft RTS series, and I only played Warcraft 3 and The frozen Throne.

    • played WC2/3, starcraft, diablo2.  Thought they were good, but not excellent games. Myth the Fallen Lords was better than WC type games for me personally if you want a point of reference for my tastes.
    • Heard about WoW well before it was released from a friend.  Was interested in playing a MUD-like graphical game, but extremely leary of EQ-like games.  I thought Blizzard was more interested in fun than treadmills/addicting people and that is what they seemed to promise.  I had heard about the catass raiding of EQ and the thought of it disgusted me.  Familiar with various other problems of the model from MUD's so I was of the opinion that it was better to forgo the attraction if these things weren't kept in check.  Blizzard seemed to have a good handle on things.  But I waited about 4 or 5 months just to make sure.  At first it seemed they did.
    • Played about 8 months.  Realized I had been wrong/not had reliable information about the game.  Quit once and never came back.  Probably will never buy another Blizzard product.
    • WoW is OK.

    Oh come on, only a REAL gamer will know about Rock 'n' roll racing on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, made by Blizzard. Yes you heard me right, Blizzard. It was a micro machines style racing game and it had music from the likes of Black Sabbath, Steppenwolf and cars could be upgraded to shoot more missles, get better engines etc. Bah you're all a bunch of kids.

    I did like the game in a way but i found several things about it i didnt like compared to the other online game i was playing at the time and still play today.

    Netherless as long as YOU enjoy it thats all that matters.

    I LOVED THAT GAME. It was so much fun back in the day, I dont care what anyone says. I wonder if i can still find it >.> <.<

    and by the way, old game systems never die, the original Perfect Dark is so much better than the new one. (a bit off topic but the new perfect dark for XBOX 360 just pissed me off with its cheesy graphics and doom-like gameplay)

    see, i'm really curious about how many people have played wow cold turkey, i.e. no previous blizzard gaming experiences.   i keep hearing how it's brought all sorts of people to the genre.  the previous games weren't EXACTLY mmorpgs, but they did have huge player/fan-bases and you could have a ton of people in the chats waiting to join whatever 8 man'ish game and there were many a large clan formed to play the previous games.

    I was one of those brought in by previous blizzard experince.

    See i  played wow and enjoyed it. Then i played starcraft and LOVED it.

    Part of the secret behind starcraft was the race design i wont go into details but it created plenty of ways to attack your oponentoponents.

    When World Of Warcraft came out i of course went online after all theere previous games were a lot of fun.

    Sadly tho for various reasons i didnt enjoy wow. It was probably because i was playing eve too at the time.

    I quit WoW last week and canceled both Accounts (mine and my son's)

    Rock and Roll racing is the best game of all time.  The re-released it about a year ago for the gameboy advanced.  It is the exact same game, I enjoy it just as much now as I did on the super nes.

    You know, I don't think mulitple choice containing 35 choices counts as a lil poll.
