No one is saying that it is a clone. We are merely gesturing towards the similarities. Similarities so profound that sensible individuals would see no benefit in playing Warock when one could play the wonderfully lag-free local servers that host BF2 games.
Of course it is similar, just like every fantasy mmorpg is similar. But like the fantasy mmorpgs they are each different in their own way. Most of the people who do play bf2 and Warrock have just scraped the surface of Warrock and just gone back to BF2. To me, after playing a large amount of Warrock I would have to say I prefer Warrock, and I'm certain and hope the lag will be sorted in due time.

I am indeed one of those who favor BF2 over Warrock. However I am not trying to diss anyone who will prefer Warock (even though I used some unfavorable words in my post that you quoted). I respect the choice in games most gamers make. Anyway. I doubt lag will be sorted out. As far as I've understood if anyone with 250+ pingrate joins the server you are on, you will all be affected. It's the same system as GunZ. Anyone can connect from anywhere and make their shitty connection pester your connection ti'll it says "F* it. I'll lag too."

I'm not sure its that asuch because you have servers which you can limit pings, green only, yellow inclusive etc etc. and they can still lag. I don't know what the problem is specifically but I'll guess I'll be optimistic that it will be sorted otherwise yeah I won't be playing it.
