About Roma: Well... It needs a lot of work. Right now there are no quests, no animals, lag, descriptions are missing, bugs. Nasty stuff. Basically, think SWG but for a 3 weeks old game and you get the idea. But unlike SWG, the devs really do respond and the improvements are daily and palpable. And there's HUGE potential there, it's a true sandbox (although limited for now).
About SWG: So I see... Some of the rumors resurfaced again (I loved the rumor again about the license pulling and Obraik's reaction: deja vu? to it). I find the stuff about the poll and that SOE/LA is contacting the EMU guys funny. I'd expect a marshall with serving papers soon after. To resume... I see that it's business as usual here.

I noticed that you printed up a few lies in your WarCry article. I thought you might want to hurry up and fix that. From your article, it seems you haven't played the game before and I think Mr. McDaniel must have misled you.
I've played Star Wars Galaxies continuously for over three years, since Beta. It would be difficult to be the site manager of a Star Wars Galaxies community site if I didn't. I haven't lied about anything. If you have issue with what Mr. McDaniel said, I suggest you take it up with him.

From his standpoint, as leader of the development team, I'm sure it has been successful. After all, if it wasn't, the changes would still be on the drawing board, not added into the game.

Even if they play the game and like it, I'm pretty sure everyone's ranted about the changes at some point in time. Either way, the majority of the players (former and current) are still complaining. Only on the official forums can you refer to these people as "some". And only because they're banned the second they speak out against the changes.
I'm a veteran player. I'm a member of a large active guild full of veteran players. I read the forums almost every day. Some players play and complain, some players cancel and some players cancel and still complain. It's not just one group of people speaking with one voice.

Struggling?!? War?!? Seems didn't bother to do any research. In case you haven't logged in recently, everyone's flipped to the Rebellion. And the large scale PvP battles that used to take place, and the raids on faction bases, are long gone. If it was a big part of SWG, then they shouldn't have killed it. And they shouldn't pretend to care about it.
Strange. I got killed by a large squad of Imperials about 4 times in a row last night in Restuss. I was pretty sure that all were members of long-standing Imperial guilds, people I recognized from long association, but perhaps I was mistaken. After all, they could have been Rebels in disguise. But wouldn't that have made me an Imperial?

Disregarding what the players like and don't like is left up to the rest of the team. Now, see? That's just sarcastic.
