Which MMO race do you like best? (NOT CLASS but RACE)

I'm seeing way to much "our game is number one" posts, so to try to break this here is a question for you:

Out of all the races you have played in MMO's which race do you like best and why?

Mine are the Ratonga of EQ2. They are one of the most creative races I have seen. What's not to love about cute creatures that are really lieing, backstabbing, cheating rats?

    Halflings from NWN, dwarves from WoW (cant stand gnomes), Lurikeen from DAoC.

    I am fixing to go get EQ2 and that was gonna be my first race a Ratonga LOL, but anyways to answer your question out of all the MMOs ive played I'd have to say...Dwarves in WoW...*gasp* yes yes WoW equals evil evil game I know thats why I am switiching to EQ2 but they are the beer drinking, dont give a crap about anything but women and beer kinda guys, the kind of guys you throw parties for  lol

    Even though they're the least popular ingame apparently, probably because they wear masks :

    I also hate elves.. any size or shape.. even..ESPECIALLY half elves

    anyway, I like big races and ugly races. Undead, Orcs, Lizardmen,

    however I do really like the froglok race in eq2

    I like dwarves and pixies.  Or some magical type.  I'm not into elves.  I wish dwarves would just smash them. :)

    Ragnarok Online 2's Dimago.  Which roughly translates to hot demons who wear S&M outfits.

    Dwarfs and Trolls, they are in both EQ2 and WoW.

    WoW Dwarfs just look neat and pretty much exactly how i would picture a dwarf, short, stout and always drinking beer.

    WoW Trolls are just awesome lol, they look great and there Jamaican accent just makes them the best race in WoW lol.

    EQ2 dwarfs, I like them for the same reasons that i like the WoW dwarfs.

    EQ2 Trolls, more realistic version of trolls compared to WoW, they made the trolls look great and well, very troll like in EQ2, definatly a realistic interpretation of how a Troll would look.

    Humans are also good, becasue it feels nice to own as somthing that you are in real life lol. Also armour usually looks very good on humans in most games due to there balanced height and build.

    Lurikeens from DAOC were great!   I also liked ratonga in eq2 because they were so unique (I was a brigand, eyepatch and everything!).

    hmm race. race. what do I normally play?

    I usually tend to be a dwarf if thats an option, think I like the beards ha. although sometimes I like elves too. So i either like small stocky characters or tall slender ones. Ha

    Elves, those gone completely nut and considering they have to cleanse the world of everything that ain't elvish...starting with humans!    You will find them in some worlds...Birthright, Warhammer...there are a few of them.

    They are holy, they are "good", they are "law", they are cleansing the world.  Eventually wood elves would have to be cleansed, but for now, they are busy!  It always annoy the force of good to be called "evil" and see holy fire rain down from "heaven" on them and seeing the fanatical determination of these elves!

    Yeah, these elves are soooo "good" that they loop back and are indeed quite evil, yet thinking they are good and that the world is evil and must be purified...

    But that is just my personnal weakness!

    Oddly enough, usually my favorite characters are of the big Ogre type race, whatever that happens to be in the given game.

    My favorite race's in the games I played are:

    • Midgard Trolls (DAoC)
    • Lugians (AC2)
    • Dwarves in both WoW and L2. They both really captured the "look" (male anyway lol, not to crazy about the female dwarf in L2)

    I've played alot of others but these stand out. Lugians had very "alien" and haunting eyes. I just like Dwarves (since I first read the Hobbit in High School...many moons ago) Very few games, IMHO, get them "right".
