honestly, i would dick around with my screen settings way too much, mess around wiith the different color schemes, settle on one and a resolution and detail, run 30 or so steps, see someone and experience a slight amount of lag as their textures load. mess around with my setting again and decide i also dont like the color scheme i picked.
id like to say something noble but the above is most likely what i would end up doing for the first 2 hours or so lol

Go to Mos Eisley, grind brawler behind the starport (woohoo AFK combat grind FTW!) then when I hit TKA, go to dant, and grind out quenker missions with a doc and ent buff, and do 1 gazillion /unarmedhit3 with my VKs. I'd eventually grind out a Jedi, that's all I want to be, it's all I ever wanted to be. Whatever system there is in place to get Jedi, that's what I'll do. Me and whole guild probably lol. They were day 1 vets, most of them.
I didn't start playing until Janary 05, so I only got 4 months of pre-CU goodness, but it was so much better then.
lol, i'd probably go for jedi too, but that depends if the system was fair (Risk vs Reward) . If not probably Master swordsman and doc asap and then offer uber 300 buffs outside coronet for 2k credits each (hey we all gotta start small at the start ) don't worry obraik i'll be sure ta give you a free one but after that i'll have to charge ya , lets see 2k pre-9 credits should equal about 300 million NGE credits (that 5% escrow from bank tip is gonna kill ya)

Don't mean to be a downer but a buff that will be high enough to allow you to survive Dant would probably be a couple months away from the start of the server. Remember,this is a server from scratch. NO buffs NO houses NO speeders NO foods NO stims NO high end weapons NO high end armor etc...
I would grind out whatever professions I choose to until I can unlock Jedi. Once I am able to Unlock Jedi, I would do that and then do what I have to do to master the Jedi profession. Along the way I would roleplay and afterwards I would still roleplay. I wouldn't go around flashing my Lightsaber around either, because I wouldn't want the Empire to find me out.
I'd sit in the AH Cantina, with the other 100 rebs in the city. And grind wamprats, and the mountian warts for my CH/RM or Pistol/Doc combo...that is till the imps come, and let good old PVP run wild .
