- Solo End-game that allow you to master every class, only in solo, mastering two class allow you to use many abilities of these 2 class while you work up a 3rd, in solo.
- Group End-Game, conventional with LDoN mentality.
- Both end-game are impacting very little or not at all each other, yet they both are limitless.
- Level/gear cap on every zone, inside that zone a system to raise this cap slightly, so noobs rules in Crushbone and highbees compete in high zones.
- Lives per month & Debt system, no CR or very little of it, no decay in any form.
- At least 15 class, if possible many more, CoH approach would work and make MANY hybrid instantaneously.
- Character respec is relatively easy to access, yet the player get a slight bonus for the longer time he didn't use it...each new step of this bonus is exponential in time require to gain. For example a full day without any respect grants 10 hps, a full week another 10 hps, a full month another 10 hps and so on...someone who has to respec will...restoring a "lost" status might be faster than earning it first time...dunno, something slight, just to encourage peoples to stick to a setting they enjoy.
- Languages used by other races are RL languages...yeah common = english, but I would love to see every race get a RL language. Of course, you would see more humans, as peoples may appreciate an english-talking city...anyway, it would add to the RPGing. Yeah, the elves could speak spanish or french! The dwarves german or whatever else! Could have a few variations from server to server, but english should always stick to humans...
That is just my opinion, but it also happen to be right!

One thats like a long story that actualy ends when players master and defeat all that the content has set out for. You make a toon, pick a starting job and its your skills aquired in time along with balanced gear that determines strenth so NO LEVELS! Multi ham bars so combat can be really strategic with very complex but finely tuned combat similar to pre-cu SWG but refined.
The mmo will play like a movie and with player factions and rivals each time the server reaches end game and resets its always differant. Players would cherish the time alot more cause there would be no grinding just preparing for the major battles or trade negotiations that could make our break your side. Perma-death will be implemented but since I would make this a sci-fi mmo there would be a few clones or 3-5 deaths before character termination. Story's would last 4-6 months and players could join at any time and if they are in late for one they can start fresh in the next so it brings every one back to square 1 to start over but the unfolding of differant storylines and outcomes would make it interesting imo.
Also has to have a huge non-combat based system for crafters, resource gathering, transport,smuggling,spy-network,merchant and trade centers, player cities and structures, in game casino's n restraunts and doctors. All good items would have to be player crafted and make crafting as competitive as possible.
1 giant server with great stability with space and ground game like SWG/JTL and have a huge ammount of jobs to do like:
Bounty hunter,Smuggler,Soldier,Commander,General,Doctor,Scout,Spy,Pilot,Transporter,Brawler,Martial arts expert,Mechanic,Engineer air/land/sea certs, Biologist and chemical specialist, clone/implant specialist, Tatoo artist/image changer, clothes/armor/shield/general weopons, Advanced armor/weopons, Mecenary, Thug,Special forces,Snpier,Heavy combat vehicle operator,Explosives expert and bomber pilot.
Some of the jobs I listed would require something like Soldier to get to general or transporter to get to smuggler and players would also be allowed to hybrid so basicly thats most of what I want in a mmo.
It's impossible. Everybody has different tastes, so whatever we like somebody else will hate.
Like the movie Forest Gump. Awesome Movie!
I found a group of people who Hate the movie with a passion.
So, we just can't have a perfect MMO.
WoW is suppost to be the perfect MMO because Blizzard read where MMOs went wrong. & There are a lot of WoW haters. I personally don't have a problem with the game... The only game I will flame somebody over is Clan Lord. Everybody can agree on that.
yeah right there's not gonna be a perfect mmorpg cause everyone has a different taste, style, strokes, faces whatever lol...what's good for you is bad for others, your garbage is another man's treasure..

A MMO that gave players more control to influence it the way they want it would be a good start. The whole universe as a toy thing. There would still be unhappy people, but the larger groups could influence it the way they wanted it.
I have no idea how you'd go about doing that though. =P
I think they should have an mmo where they let the players decide every aspect of the game. They will give you sections and you post what you want the style to be for that and then maybe that will end all the flaming about how games suck and which one is better. Or maybe it wont cause some people are just asshole and want to fight, but u never know.
