Err it will need a 3d card a hard disk and a monitor of some sort.

No doubt it will be a monthly fee sort of thing.

Considering its not out for like another year its a bit premiture to ask this.

I have also seen them talk about the prepaid cards when DAoC players wanted them and they said NO! They mentioned how they loose money cause the place you buy them at (walmart, target etc) gets the most profit cause they charge what they want for it. so Yes monthly fee probly around 12.99(old DAoC price) to 14.99 (new DAoC price).gl guys see you in the game.

I'm going to guess at the requirements based on vis/videos

    required:

    cpu: 1.5ghz or higher

    ram: 512 mb or higher

video card: 64 mb or greater -- t&l capable

    recommended:

    cpu 2.0ghz

    ram: 1gb

    video card: 128mb or greater (geforce 5 series/ati 9600 series - greater)

i'm just making these up completely, but those could be something to look at.

They're going to sell it on a new revolutionary system where you actualy barter your immortal soul for the game.

    Or at any Best Buy.

the requirements are saide to be somewhere between WoW and Eq2..yeah there is a big gap in betwwen there but thats just somthing to expect, if you can run eq2 you can run WAR most undoubtfully EA will be behind the selling part of the game, which means, almost anywhere, there WILL be a monthly fee and they said they are going to try to stay away from prepaid cards, but if they do have them they will be sold a GW retail stores most definatly

Sure hope that is the case, because if so than I am glad I'm good to go. I had a similar concern with Auto Assault but I ran that game just fine. WAR's graphics don't look like the requirements would be too above Auto Assault or EQ2.

My main issue with the game was that after reaching a certain level, there is an extreme lack of quests to do. I had my Biomek Constructor up to level 38 and the highest level quest I could do was at level 44, I wasn't going to grind on mobs to make up the lost levels. So, I just quit. Although I hear the game has fixed that problem gradually, I wasn't going to remake my character and do that all again, I was stuck (what it was then) now. I can only hope WAR doesn't have this problem since the last thing I am going to do is randomly kill mobs for hours on end just to get to the next level.

Other than that I really did like the game. Especially the crafting system.

I've watched a Mythic guy talking about WAR.

Lots of quests where different steps leading to the next one. You can also complete quests with other people. Which means if you're collecting 'things' the number of you and anyone else's 'things' will add up to complete the quest.

PvP and PvE is going to be close together. Also RvR.

There is going to be a Monthly Fee....

Another thing: Dwarf vs Greenskin (Orc and Goblin), Human vs Chaos, Dark Elf vs High Elf

Did you see that crazy guy going on about WAR? He might have been very hyper, but he did sound like he knows what an MMO should be, and hopefully that's what WAR will be.

Now that EA is backing them up, things may change.
If they want to increase their subscribtion numbers, they surely will need to get prepaid cards.

    Same differnence.

It will be the same as everyother decent MMORPG.  $50 box. $15 a month.  Probably will have prepaid cards, via EA.

A decent computer will play the game.
