For the moment DOFUS has recovered from its crash 2 weeks ago
. Of course there is still lag at the busy hours, mostly around 1-5pm (GMT -8:00), other then that the game should run smoothly (even if you're using a dial up connection).

That is correct, the lag has been greatly improved. Not sure if they moved servers to better providers or purchased better servers alltogether but it has improved dramaticallly.
Also, the game developers are giving away consolation prizes to players in the form of candies that once consumed give you boosts in wisdom and prospecting, whihc will lead to faster leveling and better chances to obtain drops, respectively.
Was about time...
On the other hand, bots are beginning to multiply, which makes it harder and harder for players to level in professions such as mining, farming and others.
Also: what is STILL wrong on this website is the price. It is NOT 12 dollars; the monthly subscription stands at just under 7 dollars a month.
