PvP RvR that is the question

   I just bought the Epic Daoc edition and am starting an account this evening. i have read many posts and such and am most likely going to pick a higher population server. But....I despise cheesey, griefing, corpse camping, and other forms or BS telling in PvP games. This game states that RvR is totally different in all forms. I don't mind a war or large scale battles since they do represent some intelligence and a goal in hand. Is Daoc a game that stays away from those sort of imo immature child like game attributes?

   If so are there even enough people in the newer zones and guilds,to even play the game without being by yourself and hard pressed to find a group, that take in new players to Daoc but not too MMO's itself? I have looked at the co-op server as well but it barely tops 200-250 during the week until today which seem to hit 500+ and that would most likely limit the amount of choice and or people to play with. I have seen Gareth Merlin andanother server which seem to stay in the thousands and good recomendations and also any good mature guilds out there to join?

It is not a PvP game, it is an RvR game (unless you are playing on the PvP server).  This means you can only be killed by members of the other realm.  This also means you have to go into certain areas of the game in order to find players of other realms.  So, if you go out there and get killed, it is because you chose to go out there.

Second, there are no corpse runs.  Never have been in any area of the game. 

Third, you do not loose anything when you die to another player. 

Fourth, there are level specific battlegrounds to allow for RvR without being killed by someone 30 levels higher than you.

fifth...u cant tell a person from another realm since they are from another realm...that is all unless u play the pvp server
