Bought CoH and CoV yesturday.

Yeah i bought em,And im im going for CoV most players i prenunse. But i dont know which server 2 choose and proffesion, i dont want a overloaded proffesion :).

I strted making one on Union. but i dont know if its the server with most player's in.

    I play on Union, but I'd say it's about 50/50 between Union and Defiant so it doesn't really matter. To be honest it's the sort of game where you want lots of different characters so I suspect I'll start on defiant when I run out of slots on Union!

    They say Union is the unofficail RP server, and defiant the "Power gaming" server, but I've never seen anyone RPing on Union so that might be bollocks.

    As for profession...

    If you like ranged blasting grab a Corruptor. If you like ranged control and grinding people down make a Dominator. If you like sneaking around and backstabbing take a stalker. If you like "Pet" classes get a Mastermind, and if you just want to charge in and hit things get a Brute.

    My problem is I love them all so I already have a Stalker, a Mastermind, a corruptor AND a Dominator. Personally the Dominator is my favourite but it's all personal choice.

    Check out the official CoV forums for info on which Powers to choose and what works, but it's the most balanced game I've ever played so there is nothing at all wrong with just picking whatever takes you fancy. ALl the powers are great.

    Brutes and Masterminds are the most popular.

    Dominators are extremely rare.  I have often play a week or two without meeting any in a group, they are just that rare.

    MM solo well.  Brutes solo well and a group can ALWAYS use another brute.

    I also play on Union. Sometimes you can see people here and there. But most of the time I find it very empty. Same with the guild. We have a lot of players but people just login and then off. Like me, I'm bored and have not been playing for 3 days or something. Same thing over and over again. It piss me off! >.<

    Oh and yes, MM & Brutes thats what I see most of the time. Also played with some Stalkers and so far they have been the ones without a brain and childish hehe. Sorry if anyone is a Stalker here. ^^

    Oh well Collectors edition and after 14 days I'm bored... damn.
