All time best mmorpg and worst mmorpg.

I think the best all time mmorpg was EQ, im not EQ fan boy and yes i played it, but EQ really set the bar for many many other mmorpgs to exist and for being a OLD mmorpg its still hanging in their strong and alot of flowing content.

Worst mmorpg of all time is no doubt Dark and light. Needs NO explanation.

    Mourning didnt even go into production did it? it charged people for beta and they left.

    I can answer this with one game.  SWG.

    BEST: Any game where you can sell your character for several thousand on ebay.  Its gotta be good when peeps will pay that much for a game.  + Its also gives you a more fair value for the time you have spent.

    WORST: SWG.

    As far as I know it was released, and then closed shortly there after and put back into delevlopment.

    It was released and lasted all of 3 months before it shutdown. Someone else supposedly bought it and its now being rebuilt.

    Best for me: Dark Age of Camelot, usually consistent with their content and all around a fair game to play.

    Worst: mm tossup, DnL or SWG-post Trials of Obi-Wan

    My all time best mmorpg is probably Everquest II, although Star Wars Galaxies pre-CU and Everquest are right up there.

    My all time worst, I would say is Dark and Light, but since I never really played the final version, I can't really say that.  So I'll have to say that Star Wars Galaxies NGE is the worst ever.

    BEST NEW:    I would say WoW is the best game out now by a large margin. Ive tried them all and this is the only one that keeps me coming back for more than a month/two.

    BEST OLD:    Origional EQ, when it was verant up to velious.

    Worst MMORPG:    So many bad ones... . Ill keep it short and mainstream titles only.

    1)  SWG - This game was always bad even before the changes.

    2)  D&D online - After trying it..I wouldnt play it if they paid me.

    3)  Everquest2 - In its defense its goten better i hear, but when i played it was so bad i took it back to the store and demanded my $$ back. (got it too)

    4)  L2,FFX,GW - And the other dozen asian potion poping games. Only half decent one is Guild Wars, but it wont hold a power gamers attention span long.

    5)  Shadowbane - Great ideas and decent PVP, but still makes the list of "Bad".

    Best was SWG IMO, and then it became the worst.

    There are certainly worse ones out there, but when a game that was so much fun and with so much promise goes in the direction it went (toilet), then it desrves the title.

    Best SWG!!! Worst the same!!!

    Very few people can argue SWG was awesome before NGE, After hey killed the template system the game got cheesy..

    I'll go with Pre-Pop EQ as the one closest to my idea of a mmorpg, graphics with a nice fantasy but mature style, great dungeons, indepth classes, memorable places, great economy, challenging play, dragons! Far from perfect, it was a bit masochistic in places, but definitely along with AC2 (lvls 1-20 only)the best experiences I've had in a mmorpg.

    Worst, hmm I'd say Dragonraja Online. How can clicking like a maniac be fun? I know I'm going to click this wooden dummy 6000 times and get one skill up! Can you see why I call it worst? (and yes EQ's tradeskills were as bad but I'll turn a blindeye to that. )

    favorites: runescape (open ended and just plain fun, first MMO i ever played)
                 WoW (so well put together)

    worst: DnL
              mount and blade
              any game with a premium items store
