Free Trial without CC possible?

Hi folks,

is there any possibility to play the free trial without having a Credit Card? I don't have one and it would be a shame if I couldn't try it cuz of that...

    The answer is in the FAQ up top.  You will not be able to play the trial without a CC.  The CC is not billed, but it is required to create an account.  You can use a debit card as long as it has a Visa or Mastercard logo.

    The only other option is paybycash.com  This will not work for the free trial, but it does work to pay your monthly fee and play if you do not have a CC.

    The european version doesn't require a credit card to play the trial.

    I'm pretty sure i created an trial account, a few months ago, in the american DAoC.. Without using CC. It just activated itself, which supprised me.

    Create the account using your CC, then immediatelly cancel the account. They make it easy to cancel it.

    You will still be able to play for the 14 remaining days.

    err well I dont advocate this, but any programmer worth his salt has at some point had to drudge through the creation of some type of billing software.

    Credit card numbers that conform to the Luhn formula (MOD 10 check)((those would be everythng from 10-16 digit visa/mastercard numbers)). Usefull for testing e-commerce sites (because they should get past any pre-validation you do, and be declined at the card processor or bank stage).

    These numbers are not valid credit card numbers, but will work for prevalidation. I wont let you know how to generate any such numbers, and they are used by programmers quite a bit to test billing software. But using the algorithm to generate a number then immediately cancelling the subscription still allows you to play the 14 days.

    Works well for any of those norty sites that want your credit card number just for the purpose of age validation tew ;)

    then if you like the game you can play using pay by cash or a valid credit card. Many countries have debit credit cards now (us/Canada) for $11.00 canadian I got one at a money mart that allows me to put a balance of up to 5k on it at any given time. once the money runs out on the card just refill it. like a regular credit card it has cvv numbers and can be used like any other mastercard. And the nice thing is I can put 10 bucks on it or 5k. Costs me 1.99 to put cash on, but it's like a bank account of sorts without interest or overdraft. once the money is gone you need to put more in the account and you can use it wherever they take mastercard.

    And in advance DaoC is fun as hell. I was never a big pvp person till I played. Now I'm a total RvR junkie.
