Real Healers has only good heal and other skills are useless. U can use Prophet(Human) or Shillien Elder(Dark Elf) because they has a good support skills(Acumen, Vampiric Rage,Wind Walk ...) and not bad in healing
hmm i wouldent say that`s the problem getting party`s at lower lvls more Ebay since player`s just ebay, buy top gear and spam Healing potions its gonna be hard to get to 50, without a good clan, and you wont really start to get party`s before that. Since most party`s start`s to need 2 healer/support classes and all the good buffs also start`s to be maxed
prohpet at lvl 40 is a pure buffer, and doesen`t get anymore heals after lvl 40 they can solo with pole and root, but thats getting nerfed in C5, they`s also heavry armor and duals, but the lvling speed is slow...
bishop is a pure healer, has no buff`s but still get`s all kinds off healing spells and Rezzecrution skills, they can solo on undead mobs.. but so far it`s slow since they nukes cost the same mp for less damgede
elven elder, is a half healer and half buffer with defensive buffs, they also get nice Rezzecrution skill %, and party recall like prohpet, and a recall for the whole party.. can solo on undead mobs to as bishop
shillen elder, is half buffer with offensive buffs and half healer, almost every group want`s one or a high lvl warcryer
can`t solo at all
warcryer, is a pure buffer, that buffs the whole group. they can solo with heavry armor and duals but you wont start to get party before your high lvl, since they Buffs comes at later lvls...
This is a good overview. You need to decide what you are looking for in the game, how high you would like to go and if you will be going solo, clan, friends, etc.
Most clans have an outside buffer. These are alt accounts that people use to buff but do not party them. You mostly see prophets in this role. In higher level clans, almost everyone will have an alt prophet. SE (Shillen Elders) fall into the same situation at times, but with greater heal and greater group heal, they are effective healers. Also, having a live regen'r (for mp) is great for archers/mages. Although you really cannot heal and regen because it will take so much of your mp.
Elven Elders are usually grouped because of their party recall skill. If you run into trouble, one key stroke and the entire party is teleported out instantly. Very, very good skills for pvp or if you pull too many monsters in pve. EEs get greater heal (for indivdiual healing) but not a great group heal. They also have a very good resurrection and also can regen mp like an SE.
Bishops are the top of the food chain in healers. They have the best resurrection percentage in the game but their heals are amazing. They get greater heal (individual), greater group heal (groups) and greater battle heal (fastest heal in the game). High level clans are always looking for Bishops (Bish's) to party with. In pvp, greater battle heal is a life saver and in pve, a bish can really save the day if your tank pulls to much aggro.
C5 (the next patch) is really going to make EEs and Bish's much better because they are the only classes that get Major Heal (Bish gets Major Group Heal) which is the new uber healing skill coming out. Also, EEs and Bish's get Might to Heaven. This is a high level undead pve skill that can allow you to xp on your own in undead hunting areas (and trust me...there are a lot of them).
I guess after typing all of this, in higher level clans, the order of healers for partying is Bish, EE and SE. Prophets and Warcryers are really just buffers and poor healers in a pinch.
