With recent coments from Smed and SOE staff, the end is near.

It obvious.

In any field , when you publicly make such comments about your partner, its close to over.

His addition about DC, puts the nail in the SWG coffin.

    Add to this Brenlo's implicit admission of failure, and the monstrous uptick in rumors lately (where there is smoke there is fire), and it is apparent that something REAL BIG is up.

    Especially with Brenlo’s comments. He basically admitted that it failed. No more sugar coated crap “Oh the NGE is great and is successful!” like they have said in the past (not in so many words) It’s over, they failed, it failed. He is apologizing for the failure even though he thought the concept was sound.At first It sounds like the old "we are sorry for how we brought this to you guys" But I can read past all that enough to see something is happening that none of them are happy about.

    Smed: I love that word "relationship". Covers all manner of sins, doesn't it? I fear that this has become a bad relationship. A relationship based on the LA taking exactly what he wants and casually ignoring all those things that really matter to, erm... SOE. We may be a small company but we're a great one, too. The company of Planetside, Matrix online, Star Wars Galaxies, Everquest. Everquest 2, come to that. And a friend who bullies us is no longer a friend. And since bullies only respond to strength, from now onward, I will be prepared to be much stronger. And the LA should be prepared for that.

    Id like hope the end is near but i have seem them survive numerous endtimes. Like i thought NGE itself would be the death of them but they barely made it then Restuss i really thought restuss was it after that mess and fariq actually considering quitting was it but they barely made it out that one so im not sure what will be the end with exception of emu really. The only other way i see this ending is after each proffesion has had its patch to nerf and destroy it because it seems like each path a good amount of people leave from there profesion being destroyed besides that emu will hopefully remove the bulk of whats left i hope that is...

    I agree, the End is Near!  An SOE director has stepped forward and admitted a mistake and apologized for it.  Surely that is a sign of the apocalypse?

    Did anyone notice that Brenlo seemed to talk of the NGE in the past tense?

    I'm not getting the tinfoil ready yet but,  I know exactly where it is....

    i really think our only hope for pre CU is if SOE breaks the contract or voids one of the conditions of the contract and LA can pull out.  LA then takes pre- CU and props up a few low support servers and let us play out a few more years while they have a low maintenance way to make a little extra money.  Or at least endorse the project-that-must-not-be-named.

    Well at least they apologized and all.  It does, honestly, seem like SOE is trying to get their act together, peice by peice.
