how i play in swgemu server?

I was reading in swgemu forums but know . but i couldnt find any information leading to how connect and lunch the game. I dont even know of servers are live yet. can i download SWG from SOE web site and use it in the emu? or should I buy the disc. in other word what i need to do step by step to play the game . I havent play the game befor i was planning to buy it but after reading how SOE screw up the game I changed my mind. and emu sound more fun. can someone help and explain plz.

you need to buy the client, dont connect and update with SOE. and wait till an SWGEMU goes into production.

I suspect this could take maybe a year or more.
