Thinking of re-subbing but do should i buy expansions?

Do you need to buy the new expansions in order to enjoy the game?

I'd say Kingdom of sky would be VERY nice to have since you start earning AA exp at 20. If your into adventure packs splitpaw saga can be pretty good for 20-50?(think it stops at 50).

I've heard once you get to 50ish its best to pick up desert of flames around then.  So if you plan to go all the way id say get both of em, or if only one get kos.

That would be KoS from a store (since it includes standard EQ2). Digital download KoS does NOT include EQ2.

If you dont have AA-skills you wont be gimped but it feels nice to have an additional reward for killing named & looting arcane treasure/fabled items for the first time. But most of the AA-xp will be gotten at level 70 anyway.

I'd say KoS definately once you hit level 20 cause of the AAs. If you don't have KoS you don't get them and they are a fairly important feature.

Also around 45ish you'll be wanting DoF probably since the gap between KoS and the old world EQ2 is 50-60th level. The content in DoF is for 45-60. You might be able to get to 55 without it then hit Fallen Dynasty or something or even start the out skirts of KoS at 55 however.
