Whats the max lvl in this game and how long does it take to get there?

I read that this game has skills kinda like in UO if so how long does it take to max those out or can explain how it all works. Pretty much im looking for a game that takes awhile to reach highest lvl not another WoW or GW.

You begin with four basic skills: Fight, Magic, Craft, and Harvest. They each branch off into more skills at 21, 51, 101, 151, and 201. Max level in each branch is 250. There are about 11,000 levels total. There is no limit on the number of skills you can max; you don't ever have to give up old skills to learn new ones; there are no classes; there is no penalty for levelling multiple skill branches. In theory, you could eventually attain all 11,000 levels, but no one has done it yet because of the sheer time and effort it would take.

ya this will last you a while although getting to level 100 or so isn't that bad and lots of the game can be experienced, especially in groups, at this level.(probably more then one skill tree.)

There still is no record of someone ever reaching 250 in all levels.  This is almost near impossible.  But achieving high lvls (i.e. 100s) Is actually fairly easy if done properly.  In Ryzom this game is so much more than the old bump and grind like other MMOGs, this game really stresses Roleplaying and community building.

The community in this game is unlike any other and is very mature and always very helpful.  Also, there is no need to attain 250 in every skill when you play with others.  I.E. In crafting you can specialize in armor while someone else in your guild specializes in weapons and so on and so forth.

And as a little added hint, if you ever hear someone talk about end game in Ryzom it means they know absolutely nothing about the game and are just complaining because they want to be spoiled little children trying to show off their best weapons and armor while trying to be better than everyone.
