Has MxO changed at all?

I gave up this game when Sony took it over

Have they made any positive changes since then?

    Many positive changes indeed.

    Refined combat system, game breakingly annoying bugs gone, server lag/stability vastly improved, new content added, the list goes on.

    I haven't played since the first two months. How has the combat changed? It was one of my favorite parts about the game, so I'm hoping they didn't upgrade it like they "upgraded" Star Wars Galaxies'.

    Is there still a lot going on, story wise? That was also a big part of the game for me. Heading to bars to hear characters speak about the war, taking off work/school the day the "agents" took over all the NPCs, etc.

    And is there still a newspaper?

    EDIT: Can you still get the max level in two weeks?
