I rarely do combat anymore on SWG.  I usually just play my ent but yesterday I decided to try out the auto attack (which is awful btw).  Another guildie invites me to group.  Upon accepting, I look at my group list and notice that the graphics have changed.  I asked when this happened and the guildie replied that it occurred with the last pubilication.

Guess what???

You've been asking for pre-cu???

Here's what you get!!!  ....a group list with the old blue (or whatever color scheme you chose) rectangle background on it rather than the scrollie type thingy (although your character's HA still shows up on the scrollie type graphic). Aren't you excited?  Doesn't it make all of those that left the game just want to rush right back?  Shouldn't we all be happy with this small token and stop begging for pre-cu?

The truth? Well, I don't like it, but here it is...

My GF still plays and LOVES it ("it" being the Group window, Ent's actually still group)... something that small... why? Because it give her and her friends hope of the game rolling back to Semi-Pre-NGE... She knows it's not going to happen, but it is a small detail that makes the ladies swoon...

But wasn't this the same as the client mod everyone has been using since NGE anyway?

The person who designed the NGE UI should be covered with honey and put out on an anthill or something.

And still, even the CU interface was a hack around the original.
