What GENRE of game will be big?

It seems that fantasy games have really taken off it use to be sci-fi games, what do you think will be the next HOT game genre.

Explanation of terms:

Historical: Games made with a time period in mind (Rome, greece, WW2)

Sci-fi: MECHA: Games involving giant robots as the main item.

Sci-fi: Starship: Games that have starships as the main item

Sci-fi: Everything: A game that involves everything from infantry to starships.

Fantasy: Deep Fantasy: Like a high fantasy (WOW,GW and like games)

Fantasy: Semi-realistic: Not a contridiction... a fantasy game that has some real overtones like the old CONAN stories (While they was fantasy they also was written like they was history)

I can't see it changing, people seem to like that high fantasy alot for some reason and most of the developers don't seem intrested in trying to get away from it either.

You are probably correct Dancer...

I think the farther you can get away from something that looks like real-life the better... people play games to realax and escape from the days frustrations and problems, sci-fi probably seems closer to real life than fantasy. I for one am getting tired of the fantasy genre and am ready for a good sci-fi game, but the only decent one out there is EVE, at least until some of the new games come out.
