Lately, I've seen a couple of people following this pattern.

Increase font size + News hyperlink + personal opinion.

It's like some kind of a trend  going on, makes people think when they see it,"Oh that guy is really smart".  I bet I should align my opinion alongside their's because I'll take his word for it!  Deny it if you will, people do become influenced by news threads on here.  I used to do it and, saw what was happening when I did it and stopped, now it's starting again.

What happened to community now?  It's getting boring and, I see a more assimilated community now rather then individualism.  No character, just post the same general concept as the OP did or, have an argument  that turns nasty in the end.  People in this community need character, it doesn't mean you're a nice generous person but, aren't influenced by other's stigma within the community and, develop a unique voice.

Creativity within this community has wilted.  Posters get a voice, make a valid opinion, view different angles, gather perspective then post.  But, don't take my word for it, use your own!  I hope someone understands this...

This community has been all about news and personal opinions. Well I do remember a time where people actually quote the news then post the news hyperlink source, but you know man, it's somthing you got to deal with and not complain about.

Dang, I wish I could read minds like you.  Then I could pick out the people who are just "trying" to look smart.  And then I could insult them the same way you do. 

It's amazing how you can pick that out just by how they create a topic in a forum.

OH, and btw, I didn't post an opinion on that topic you're referring to.  I asked 2 questions.  How is that stating an opinion.

I've been posting on the net in other places under other alias's and, I know what happens when people add their soap box to news threads and, I don't agree with it.

Take it easy Vercades.  You're kind of giving off some weirdness when you put us down and say we are so easily swayed.

I go to the links when someone posts them.  It's not a big deal.  You click on it and zoom you're there.  It even opens in a seperate browser window so you can look at the story and the MMORPG.com site at the same time.  No biggie. 

You're going to give yourself high blood pressure soon like that.

the font size that's just how it pastes into the editor.

I find it a lot of fun to discuss news, for me it's interesting, so I post whatever I find interesting. Sometimes people post, other times no one cares.

Sometimes I don't post my opinion because I am not sure if my opinino is well-formed yet, so I wait to see what others say. Other times I just put a quote I think it's relevant, etc

Doesn't bother me, I like it actually.

I don't come to conclusions in half an hour.  I lurk and watch things
progress and, If I see something I don't agree with I let my voice
heard.  I'm not right all the time and, I do learn from my mistakes
but, try to prevent it from happening again.
