I've been played the korean version and japanese version, and I can tell you now you'll see a lot of Lions, Dragons and Raccoons... but why, you ask? And which one you would want to be? We'll here's some advice.
Lions, hands down, are a very good class, they have an excellent amount of damage... 2nd job they can master the use of guns, yes, guns. However, bullets cost 10g each, which is not very reasonable, so consider making a high level character first and then making a Lion as a 2nd class, due to expensive ammo.
Raccoons are the "meatshield" of Trickster. In a party, you will more than often see them tanking a higher level monster. Also, raccoons get 30 HP every level. Out of all 1st jobs, Raccoon turns out to do the least damage, but can take the most, they also have a slow/normal level 1-30, fighters will be zooming past you in levels, but don't let that keep you down-- Raccoons 2nd job allows them to...
1. Wear a fancy suit.
2. Throw cards [they do a shitload of DMG]
3.And use cards to CAPTURE monsters with cards and summon them to fight as your minions [Bwahah!]
4. And on top of that you're still a tank, making you a living controversy. [<3]
AND last but not least, Dragons. Dragons, as I've said before, are the healing/mage class of the game.
[Actually 1 of 2 mages, other is the sheep, which is the female counterpart of the dragon]
They do the most damage in the game but have the most expensive spells AND level 1-30 will be slow.
1-10 expect to be KSed a lot due to your slow casting time with only 1 spell. However, Dragons are a very well-rounded class and can be very deadly in PvP, at higher levels they are AMAZING at PvE.
Note: there is currently a level cap of 400.
BUT WAIT, 2nd job.
Dragons 2nd job get to choose between a Dark Taoist or a Light Taoist, most Darkies are more spellnukepwn, and light is more healing and buffs. Don't try to be a Dark Taoist and heal at the same time because your heals will be very insufficient. But, good luck~!
