I meant to share this with you guys in the past, but there is no combat in this game. Although it's made by Korean developers, there is no grind whatsoever and everyone can play at their own pace. It is a music game that you can find at
o2jam.com.my hosted by E-Games. It's kind of like Stepmania or DDR except that you have seven keys on the keyboard to hit the notes with. It's got quite a lot of songs too and will improve your reflexes. You can compete with other players in versus mode, but this is entirely for fun. It is much more relaxing than just grinding away at an MMO, which seems like a chore to the majority (myself included). You should try it out for yourself. The level of your character indicates the skill of the player behind that character. As you level up, there are missions at certain levels that you have to complete in order to advance to the next level. And, these missions get harder as you level up, indicating that if you did not complete the mission, then you are not skilled enough to advance to the next level.
Just a reminder, songs are not easier to complete for the level 100 with explosive avatars than to the level one newbie who has just bought his first items. Both of those players have the same notes, the same tempo, and the same song. The level 100 player, however, has truly great skill.
If you want to see some footage, go to youtube and look up o2jam. All those guys are intently focused on the left side of their screen and some of them are really top pros.

I don't know what it is about these types of games, they are just so addicting. Right now I am playing Albatross 18. I don't like golf the much but the game is just fun. Its nice and casual. However, I think the players should look really good considering its like DDR so you play to see what your character does on screen.
how is this an MMO?

I used to play O2Jam but then I found out I sucked horribly.
Cleffy, at the time of my previous post, we had exactly the same number of stars AND the exact same number of posts. But now I have one more post than you. Heheheh. What a coincidence.
That doesnt make it an MMO, MMO stands for Massive Multiplayer Online. Tell me, do you play with 1000's or even hundreds of people all at the same time or do you have to select to play a match with someone. If its the latter then it is no more of an MMO than guild wars is and therefore it is classed as a mog Multiplayer Online Game.
Either way, i may actually try this just for somthing to do as i have just deleveled on FFXI >.<.

Shakkles, I empathize with your hatred for Korean companies, but if you read further, you would realize that this is not a rehash of the same game we have come to love in the past but now despise in the present. It's a new concept altogether just borrowing some essential basic ideas from the few other games in this category.
The only purpose of the avatar system is to make your character look better. They do not improve the song's easiness level.
By that logic Counterstrike is an MMO. StarCraft is an MMO. No.
