Hey all.
I found this new mmorpg called Winter's Twilight
here just a couple of month ago, it's currently in development stage, and not all information are complete, but I've found it a very interesting game indeed! It consists more than 10 different races, more than 5 classes and 3 playable continents!
What's most interesting about this game is it's uniqueness and how great the forum community is, you can always find something to discuss about the game in the forums, and the devs are always there to listen and process the general reaction of the gamers. I think that's a great feature that not all games these day have.
so please check it out. it's also rated fairly well on the hypemeter (6.9!), so I'm sure it wouldn't be a waste of your time! Thanksall!

This is in the game listings here. Still, I am pumped for the game.
The PvP info confuses me.
Each starting city is considered a 'Safe Zone' and is completely PvP free. Just like in a true civilised society, these zones are policed and attempted negative actions against other folk will just draw the attention of the guard. Cause enough infractions and they'll give you a strict 'talking to'."
Does this imply that by entering a town having done negative things to your own race you could be approached by the guards,or that IF you try to start PvP action in the towns they will come for you? Because if it's the latter, they're not really 'No PvP' zones, are they? More like places where PvP will be strongly discouraged, but could happen.
Once you get REALLY deep into the big bad areas of the game; the Lesser Hells, the Deep Down Below, and of course the Demi-Gods ( More on these later too! ) then you're in the Full-On PvP areas of the game. Of course, the baddies in these areas should give most players a hard enough time as it is, without picking on each other!"
What's the real difference between these two? Diplomacy could happen in Layer 4 or Layer 3. Seriously, what's the difference?
Think about it - you may be in the middle of a quest chain where the NPC's will no longer talk to you. You may no longer get the same deals on goods that you had before. Your guild dues will rise etc...
Also, killing a tagged murderer does not attract these penalties.
Each murder you commit adds to your murder count. Once your murder count reaches five, your character will be jailed for a period of time ( yet to be decided ).
The moral of this is, whilst you CAN run around attacking lower level players, there are significant consequences which should deter all but the most determined.
Attacking a player that IS ALREADY in combat with a Non-Player-Character is considered murder and the above rules apply."
Jail time is in itself, possibly "the bane of many PvP games". They'd better do that right.
PvP gripes aside,this sounds OK.
