Need Opinion (not asking for an mmo or free game rofl)

Hey as most of you know the state of mmorpg's is not at its highest point. I have gotten fed up with the mmo's out atm, so im headin back to some single player action until something worthy comes out. Id like some opinions/info about some good rpg's to play (pc only) I really enjoyed Diablo 2 back in the day, so i was thinking maybe trying neverwinter nights? what are your thoughts, ty ahead of time

Knights of the Old Republic, any of the Baldur's Gate stuff--since you're a Diablo fan, maybe the Ice Wind Dale stuff, too. Neverwinter Nights is also good (as are the two expansions, I thought). Knights of the Old Republic II is something of a disappointment--the ending is messed up, there are quite a few bugs in it--basically, it was rushed out the door, but it's still worth playing for all of that, especially if you liked the first one.

Others that are a mix of fps and RP would be: Psi Ops and,... damn, forgot the name. Anyway, many of the FPS games have some decent RP in them (such as Prey or Fear). Oh, and of course Vampire: Masquerade: Bloodlines was excellent as well.

There's tons to play. In this MMO drought, I wish I had some unplayed games to turn to as well.

We'll I just recently found this one, Dark Messiah MM, I'm ussually not into FPS RPG's but this is quality stuff IMO, Oblivion who?
