Mangband.....could do wiv a mmorg based on many dungeon lvls .

i have been playing mmorgs and 3 boxing ( playing 3 accounts at once ) for some years now..playing EQ // SWG // WoW // and currently playing EQ2...
i took some time out a year ago to play mangband ( www.mangband.org )
The idea being to create a character and adventure down many levels below the town above and defeat a boss at the end....the game plays much like D&D but the graphics are very basic....
i think the basic idea is great the way the dungeon is so huge wiv so many lvls that yu never know when yu would bump into another adventuring party...the theme of each lvl of dungeon could be different like diablo
obviously after adventuring to certain depths of the dungeon yu could unlock shortcuts for when returning..
if anyone knows a mmorg thats goin to be based on this idea i would like to know cause i love a good dungeon crawl ( reminds me of acrylia caverns and the inner sanctum in EQ1 )
btw : i didnt go much on DDO ( dungoens & dragons online ) if anyones goin to mention that little chestnut

Definetly a winning concept.

It seems - well at least it looked like it NCSOFT "Dungeon Runners" is based on that idea.

The game kind of disapeared from the radar since the alleged beta , nobody is talking about it.
Last news was that is sopposed to be totaly free to play which makes me skeptical...
