Forgot about the initial download/registration

1 1/2 hours and still doing it.. finally made it to the checking screen of the game itself... checking 14,000 is sure gonna take a while as will the download afterward.

Comming back after a year and a half off, too bad i lost my original pol and ffxi registation numbers ;( I will have to start all over again..

Any recommendations on server/guilds?

If you used to play you'd know you can't pick your server, and there are no guilds.

1. yea u can.. its called a worldpass 

2. my bad.. i ment linkshell.. wierd how most other games out there call it a guild and SE chose to go with LS

Worldpasses are overrated. Just delete/remake until you land in the server you want (takes some time though)

and.. linkshells are more like chatrooms than guilds. theres nothing you really get with a linkshell other than an extra chat channel.

Worldpasses are required if you're trying to land on a specific server and its population is a little higher than the others. Your randomness of landing on servers is decided by server population, When you start your assigned to a server with low population, so making and remaking will just bounce you around from Low pop server to low pop server.
