This has been the first game that I have actually played on a PVP server so im not sure on other games, but lately i've been bored and been checking the server boards for Nagafen (pvp) Is this what most games pvp servers are all about is bitching and whining and throwing out insults left and right?

    I would suggest you avoid the boards if you feel they are simply bitch sessions. Obviously in game, you won't see insults between Qs and FPers because neither can understand the others language...

    yeah, almost every PVP MMO that has a forum is a bitchfest. Such is life, IMO. PVP is a jungle, and it's expected when you throw real people into a game together on opposing factions. If it's too intense for you, then I suggest a PVE server. To me, PVP is a good alternative to questing/leveling.

    Forums in eq2, specially pvp, are horrible community wise.  I would suggest steering clear of them.

    PvP is a lil diff from the pve community.  See people are fighting each other, and when two people go toe to toe and one wins, that class must be over powered.  So there are half the pvp post right there.

    The other 1/4 is about who exploits, bought plat, trained someone, ect.  These are the real flame fest, and that also goes on in pve servers but on pvp people are the mob to beat so they are the target of frustration when others lose.

    Its the nature of the beast.  On the actual servers it isnt too bad though.  The forums are just the staging ground for the pissing contest becuase both sides can communicate there.
