Thank God. One thing I never understood about this administration was how they do all sorts of things that they call necessary, but when the 9-11 panel reviewed what they had done to make us safer, they revealed that they practically didnt do a thing.
Now, it needs to get throught the appellate and eventually to supreme court.
Hopefully it will go all the way to the top.
Someone needs to hold this president accountable for breaking FISA law and shitting on the Constitution.

Seriously though, this is good news, people invading and recording private conversations defianatly should need a warrant. I am all for taking down criminals with recordings, but not if they don't have any evidence to start with.
I hope some day we can all put aside our racisms and prejudices and just laugh at people
Can't legalize pot because it could lead to harder drugs like cocaine.
Can't ban sub-machine guns because next they would go after handguns.
Can't allow Stem-Cell Research on Embryos that are going to be destroyed anyway because that could lead to women selling embryo's to research facilities.
But point out the danger that ignoring the constitution on high risk wire-taps could lead to ignoring the constitution on medium-low risk wire-taps and you are weak on Defense and Security.
It's the 4th Ammendment to the Constitution...the same document Dubyah n' Boyz swore to uphold when they took office. He's failing miserably at it. Who is HE to subvert the supreme law of the land? He's just an elected official...not a king.
Do you believe it's ok for the government to intrude into your home without probable cause and without a warrant? C'mon...what do YOU have to hide?

A friend of mine and I sat on MSN messenger one night just typing stuff like "bin laden bush sadam bomb" etc to each other over and over for about an hour to see if we could attract Echelons attention. I guess the fact that neither of us got our doors kicked in showed they were too smart to be fooled by the likes of us LOL
