Lineage II bonus CD.... is it worth it?

Lineage II looks like it would be a great online game and i can never wait for something to come out. Now is 50 bux worth just to get into beta? I wouldn't think it would cost that much just for some media and some crapy trading cards. Does anybody know if it would be worth it?

    If you are sure you are going to play L2 sure its worth it to pre-order and play beta for now.

    imagefor the most part l2 sucked for me when i played it the combat was sooo danm lame i just wanted to go to sleep i mean whats a game without good gameplay? dont even wast your moneyimageimage

    its not $50 for a beta CD...

    its $49 for the game but if u pre-order it, u get into the beta... the beta CD is only $10 and u get sum other stuff with it...

    i've been playing Lineage 2 for about 2 months now in both the Tai and Jap beta and its an awesome game, the PvP rocks, best graphics around, awesome sounds/music... its worth it ^^

    What this guy said. But my loyalty with Lin2 will be shattered when the new genre on the horizon GUILD WARS comes along.

    The two games will forever change the face of PvP gaming.

    for 1 the pvp sucked for 2 the graphics sucked for 3 who the hell would even pay money for a god danm beta cd in any case dont even get it its a total rip off and not worth it the combat really really sucks a** i mean its like crap what good is a game without good combat like i said dont even bother these people think the *lame a** * combat is cool and really theres a bunch of boringess to it

    lol loreofchaos have you even PLAYED Lineage 2?... im somewhat doubting it now especially after saying stuff "like the graphics sucked"... anybody who has even seen a screenshot know's it has the best graphics of any MMORPG out there currently...

    also you're saying "the PvP sucks"... rofl that's almost as much a lie as the graphic one... Lineage and Lienage 2 are known to have some of the best PvP out there... with a free PK system (although giving penalties to stop griefer's), massive war's/sieges easily involving hundreds and maybe even thousands of players, and the PvP is just plain fun...

    u either A) never played the game, B) played it for like 2 minutes before getting PK'd by another noob and storming out like a 5 year old, or C) are trying to flame L2 for absolutely n reason other then to distract people away from it in a weak attempt to keep PvP fans in SB...

    (oh ya and btw, ur not exactly paying for the beta CD, ur just giving $10 so u can pre-order the game and get it beofre anybody else... just so happens when you DO pre-order, they give u a beta CD and some other stuff...)

    learn a bit about what ur flaming before u try kid...

    I like Lineage II, good graphics, good PVP, decent community tho it's only beta so far. Granted I'd like to see some changed but those are more to facilitate grouping and such. Nothing gameplay wise.

    PS. ordering will get you a reserved spot in the open beta not the closed beta.

    I would say no, definitely not.  If all the box does is get you into the beta and some little dumb trinkets, then they should be charging a max of $20.  They already get a ton when the game comes out and this is just an unfair way to make some more cash.

    Well it's worth it for me, since it's usefull to have  backup cd when you formatted your computer and so you can install it just with the cd. :)

    Preordered. image Not because of the beta (i was in taiwanese one) but because i want to buy this game anyways.

    Why not buy it now and get Beta and a Soundtrack CD for free?

    Actually the sieges in Lin1 hardly ever reached 100 people. And if you've played Lin2 much and see the castles, I really don't see how they could fit in a few hundred, let alone thousands...

    Everything else though, I agree with.

    ya but thats for the game itself...

    and ViolentY, ya it does seem like kind of alot especially after seeiing the relatively small scale sieges in L1...

    I've never played Lineage or Beta for Lineage 2, although i've preordered it and am ready to beta, but put it this way, Lineage is the largest MMORPG in the world. It's 4 times as large as EQ and FFXI put together. Do you know how many people play Lineage. 4 MILLION!!!! This may just be a hunch but with numbers like that, you can expect a really really really great game from NCSoft. 4 MILLION PEOPLE!! I just felt like saying that again, lol.
