Question for Cradle of Filth fans.

Ok, can a more knowlegeable Cradle of Filth fan then me please answer something for me. When I listen to a lot of their music it obviously seems as if there is a deeper voice singing while he is screaming. He does all of the vocals for the band, right? Does he record himself doing one set of vocals then add another set of his vocals together in the studio? Because I know I hear two distinct voices in various songs.

Well, i don't really know about cradle of filth ( i do have a few songs of theirs, but not many), but some bands do record themselves and sing over it, but it is more likely that the bassist or rythim guitarist sings too.

See I thought that too, but they don't. For the longest time I thought so, but when I looked it up, dani is the only one who sings.

Ah, then i guess he just overlaps it in recording, so it is probably not there in live concert?  I know of a few other bands that do that...

I don't think I've heard any live songs where he overlaps, I heard they aern't as good in concert and that his voice isn't as high pitched. They may amplify it in the studio as well.

On some songs, they do have a female vocalist, Sarah Jezebel Deva, who also fronts the group Angtoria.
