Ok. I am another guy looking for that perfect MMORPG. I have seen alot of threads here with other people looking for thier perfect one. It seems every one i try is just the same. I will list which i have tryed and maybe u can reccomend some.
WoW
Guild Wars
SilkRoad
RuneScape (classic, i dont like the new graphics)
Flyff
Ragnarok Online
Knight Online
Hero Online
Legend of Ares
BiosFear
Conquer Online
MU Online
There is ALOT more but i cannot remember. As you can see i have basically tried most games. They all seem the same to me. Go out of town, kill, get quest, kill more, get lvls, and so on... I liked the WoW quest system as you dont grind you just complete all the quests in the area then move on. RuneScape was a favorite i played with 3 other friends. I loved the freedom and VARIETY of things to do.
Maybe it's just me but i think i may have grown bored of MMORPGs but i love them. I currently play Counter-Strike but im looking for an MMORPG for when i get bored of playing it.

Other than those 3 I've never found anything decent to spend my time on.
Its basically all garbage for little kids.
Ok, in all honesty maybe MMORPGs aern't for you. I went through a lot of MMOs as well, I found a couple I had wonderful experiences in...but never did I find one that I would stick in for the LONG hall. I kind of quit MMORPGs myself. I have a GF, and whatever I do I want to give it my all. I don't want to divide time between my gf and my game. I play MMOs when I have no life, in otherwords SUMMERS when I'm single, heh. In all honesty though, when you think about it...MMOs are kind of boring. They are all grind fests, and I have seen it all too. I don't expect I will be playing an MMO any time soon, unless they can come up with something innovative...Which I don't see happening. I think I'll try warhammer when it launches tho, if I have the time.
I had the most fun playing EQOA, everquest online adventures. It's an MMO for the ps2, and only the ps2...I had the most fun with it though. If you have a ps2, it's worth trying I think...but hey, lots of people say its dead. Idk.
Well, I hope you find a game thats right for you man. I hope you can succeed in something most of us can't.
"MMORPGs...boring?"
For the most part, yes.
The game I'm playing isn't boring, to me. But you wouldn't like it, I expect, since you mentioned liking WoW's questing.
